Hello!

I would like to see:

What do you think of visiting the forums of disorders different from your own (e.g., I am dx simply with Bipolar Disorder, however, lately I have tended to make response posts and start threads in Schizophrenia Topics and Depression Topics).

Wanting to see others' opinions and ways of navigating MT,

Hello again,

So what do you think about a person posting in Topics other than the person's main diagnosis?

Its no problem for me posting where I like. There are no rule dictating where a person can or cannot post. If you think your post would be helpful or interesting or caring in another area I think its great that you can go and post there.

I haven't been in the schizophrenia forum in a long time, but I used to be there a fair decent amount of the time as well. I'm gradually spreading my wings again. I'm sure I'll stop by there again sometime soon.

i started branching out because my friends from another site were posting in other communities. I met more people and liked them. if we were all in the hospital together, we wouldn't be segregated so my philosophy is that it's good to reach out.

I agree with going to each place. Just because one person has a different diagnosis doesnt mean one cant be helpful in all aspects in life that becomes topics. We all are human and can learn from one another!

If visiting other Forums is beneficial for both parties, why not?
Thanks for asking EA.
