What do you think of visiting the forums of disorders different from your own (e.g., I am dx simply with Bipolar Disorder, however, lately I have tended to make response posts and start threads in Schizophrenia Topics and Depression Topics).

Its no problem for me posting where I like. There are no rule dictating where a person can or cannot post. If you think your post would be helpful or interesting or caring in another area I think its great that you can go and post there.
I haven't been in the schizophrenia forum in a long time, but I used to be there a fair decent amount of the time as well. I'm gradually spreading my wings again. I'm sure I'll stop by there again sometime soon.

i started branching out because my friends from another site were posting in other communities. I met more people and liked them. if we were all in the hospital together, we wouldn't be segregated so my philosophy is that it's good to reach out.

I agree with going to each place. Just because one person has a different diagnosis doesnt mean one cant be helpful in all aspects in life that becomes topics. We all are human and can learn from one another!
