This is the story of my friend, ice climber Bob Timmer, who was not only diagnosed with one, but TWO inoperable malignant tumors-one in the brain and one on his spinal cord. He used climbing as a means to cope with the cancers and through it learned to control his fear of heights. Today he is still climbing fervently and does it completely cancer-free.
