Due to a mix up between my doctor and pharmacy I ran out of my klonipin and I was reluctant to call my doctor for a refill for reasons I don't want to go into.
After the 3-4th day I was in severe withdraw. I tried to tough it out on my own but by the end of the week I had a complete meltdown. At that point I called my doctor and went to see him. I was so bad he wanted me to go to the ER. I convinced him to allow me to go home and start my med again. He called my son to see if he would check on me. My son called me every hour.
I am now experiencing severe anxiety, but hopefully my med will kick in soon.
I have to say I have never experienced such a horrible reaction to any other med. It's been almost a week and I wake up crying and continue to cry throughout the day.
Yesterday I drove to my appointment with my counselor. and went through a stop sign and red light. I am so thankful I didn't cause any wrecks. For now I quit driving until I get my concentration back.

Oh, you poor dear. Honestly, I KNOW what you are talking about. Been there, and it's HELL.
I hope you are feeling back to normal.
DO you feel like talking about it?
I am on 1 mg per day, and I find if I run out, I suffer, BADLY.
In Ontario, Clonopin is now a CONTROLLED drug.
My Doctor has me on two per day which I must go to the store for every day.
So embarrassing, and aggravating.
I was doing well on 0.5 mg, daily, the extra 0.5 is not in my best interest, BUT, I take it .
Yep, I have an addiction to it.
and it is hell to run out.
Am really glad to meet you.
A lot of us here depend on Clonopin to get by.
Glad you didn't crash too.
