Although I believe principally in Christianity I think other religons particularly Buddhism and Taoism may offer a more distant knowledge of god.

Tao means 'the way' Didn't Jesus say I am the 'way the truth and the life' I react very much to certain passages in the Tao Te Ching and my Yin Yang being the struggle in my mind between positivism/scientism/pragmatism and romanticism.

I am into Buddhism a bit as well, my friend Simon is a Buddhist. I tend not to believe in reincarnation though I am not absolutely sure. I think there is a certain amount of wisdom in the Buddhist eightfold path.

Blessed are the peacemakers:- Jesus Christ
