SENATOR ELIZABETH WARREN, THE SMARTEST WOMAN IN THE US SENATE
Senator Elizabeth Warren is fantastic. Prior to the 2007 economic meltdown, she was in charge of a small US government agency, and she warned Alan Greenspan and the US Federal Reserve that derivatives and subprime mortgages were so poorly regulated that they would explode.
Alan Greenspan and Larry Summers did everything they could to sabotage Elizabeth Warren, and discredit her warning. They stripped her of all her government power; thus she resigned. Shortly thereafter, her warnings came true and the economy collapsed in 2007.
Since then, Elizabeth Warren successfully ran for political office, and now is a Senator. Currently she is leading the fight for better regulatory control of Wall Street.
Here is a video of her introducing an important reform that will improve the regulation of Wall Street. Unfortunately, my bet is that Wall Street is so corrupt and politically powerful that Elizabeth Warren's new bill in the Senate won't be passed.
But at least she tried! |

WALL STREET CONTROLS THE MEDIA, BUT SENATOR WARREN'S MESSAGE IS GETTING OUT
No one ever is allowed to criticize America's megabanks on TV, because these megabanks control the media.
However, Senator Elizabeth Warren usually exposes these TV anchors for the ill-informed puppets that they are. |

AMERICA STRUGGLES TO BRING IN A DECENT MINIMUM WAGE
Canadians can't understand the great opposition in America to bringing in a decent minimum wage law. Canada has had such a minimum wage law for decades.
The (Wall Street controlled) American media seems opposed to any government action that will transfer wealth from the rich to the poor.

ECONOMIC "LAWS", LIKE PHYSICAL LAWS, ONLY ARE TRUE IN CERTAIN LIMITED CONDITIONS
The Myth Of Economic "Laws"
The "financial wizards" on Wall Street believe that they have discovered economic "laws" which tell them how to correctly place bets on the markets. The US Federal Reserve is so sure of one set of economic "laws" (the Keynesian theory) that it has staked the entire economic future of America on this theory.
What economists forget is that, even with physical laws, there are many confounding factors that severely limit the predictive power of any scientific "law". Here's An Example Of A Well Known Physical Law That Has Real Limitations
This video shows that Einstein's famous equation, e=mc(squared) is only true in certain, highly limited situations. Thus even this famous physical law won't give a correct answer in most situations.
My point is that you have to know the limitations of every physical law; since every physical law only works under certain conditions.
Economists don't yet know the factors that limit the predictive powers of their economic "laws". That's why, every few years, we have economic meltdowns caused by the stupidity and greed of Wall Street trying to apply these so-called economic "laws". |

90,000 Mexicans Have Been Killed In The Current Drug Wars
My friends love vacationing in Mexico because the Mexican people are so friendly.
However, I have stopped vacationing in Mexico because of the current drug wars there, and the fact that the Mexican police and government are so corrupt.
What is welcome news is that the Mexican civilians have now formed vigilante groups to eradicate the drug dealers and corrupt Mexican police.
Where is the Mexican army and government in all this? Nowhere.
The corrupt Mexican army and government appear to be on the payroll of the drug cartels. The Mexican army has been totally ineffective in its attempts to eradicate the drug cartels. The Mexican government has always been corrupt, so it is not surprising that it has been so ineffective. What Does History Show?
Historically, civilians will tolerate tyranny for only so long before they revolt against it.
So, if the Mexican vigilante groups are trying to re-establish rule of law in their country, I am in full support of our southern vigilante brothers. |
