Here are my long-term experiences. For perhaps 5 or 10 years I had severe trouble waking up in the morning. I always managed to get up, but the process was difficult. And I was sedated in the daytime. Then at some point my medication was switched and I started going to bed early (9:15 pm). Then eventually it became easier, almost natural, to get up on time in the morning. I get about 9 or 10 hours of sleep a night now. And I hold a daytime job and I usually do not feel sedated.
But for about 4 months now I have been having "fantastic" dreams every night. Sometimes I sleep lightly and awaken a few times. And several times a week I wake up trying to figure out some sort of puzzle (as if I were still in a dream).
My problems may not be severe, but I am so afraid of not going to sleep early at 9:15 pm.
