Hahaha

A lovely gentleman I know has asked me out again...lol
It never ceases to amaze me.
He is an amazing person...
There is nothing in it but friendship.
But he treats me like a lady.
Just sharing....haha
Who would have thought.
Will be out of my moon boot by then :)

One day at a time.

That sounds great, I'm glad you've met someone who treats you well!

Also very glad to hear you'll be rid of that moon boot in time!

Why wouldn't a man want to see a woman of wit and dignity? If you laugh at the same things...it's good.

Truly Keith
The reality is men my age date 40 year olds...or younger.
This gentleman is 10 years my senior but truly women age differently to men. Gender bias is alive and well.
But I will certainly enjoy his company, he is overseas more than he is home in Australia so his adventures are always interesting.
Yes I am looking forward to it.

and we are still together .

Him being born in 1954 and I in 1945

October 13 what a lucky day...my birthday even..lol...wont forget that date.

I will just enjoy the outing...no expectations other than having a pleasant day.

So glad you and Don are happy.

I am up at midnight here...today is actually my wedding anniversary.
But it doesnt tug the heart strings...I actually just give a sigh of relief.

One day at a time.

OMgosh Sue I am ecstatic for you! This day just keeps getting better! I have a fondness for you Sue, but you already knew that!
I know this is the internet but have become a good friend and a caring one at that. I was worried for you! I didn't want you to be alone and by yourself. Everyone needs someone!

I am so very happy for you!

I just want to be happy and healthy. Nothing more, nothing less!

Hello
My outing is next week so will keep you posted.
Diesel...dont worry about me, I am far happier being alone than in that toxic marriage, I had no idea what a battle zone it was until I was out and on the road to healing, life is much better...
I am a different person and much happier, I have a lovely little house that my grand daughters visit and they love me to bits...you cant fool little kids and that makes me so happy.

How are you going Diesel?
With all your boys.

I am getting old and have to lose weight...I doubt if there is anythin much more than friendship in my outing...I wouldnt know what to do if there was...lol...however I look forward to it, we were good mates at one stage, many years ago so it is really lovely to be treated well....and we had a great time in the 70s...who knows as soon as I say never God turns up with a surprise for me.

David my son is coming here on Sunday for the week.
He rang up today to have lunch with me but I have people coming to collect a clothes line.

The weather is cooler here, last night I woke up after taking my meds and smelt smoke...I couldnt hear any sirens and my smoke detectors werent going off but I was worried...this morning I realised people were lighting their wood fires...duh...we have had a bad fire season this summer.

Making my first lot of soup for the season, its still 26C today but the mornings and nights drop down to about 9C.....in our climate we think thats freezing.

Take care everyone.

Looking forward to my daughters wedding at the end of the year and I am making the little girls dresses plus the bridal party is leaving from my home.
Pdoc asked if the ex was leaving from here too.
I said only if he is in a box...pdoc cracked up laughing.

One day at a time.

Much obliged for the update Sue

I am so pleased to learn that
everything appears to be going
quite well for you presently.

Yours as ever in long term friendship, David x
