Oh dear

It's happening.

I have fallen in love, like I have never before. No bars held. Fully and totally.
I've known him for 3 years but things transpired suddenly and very unexpectedly in the past 2 weeks.
He's Italian. (and part South African)
He is the embodiment of everything I've ever dreamed of. The way we talk through the night, the way we feel, the way we sing together on every song. I've learned to let my past go with him, to bid all the loose strings farewell.
I've learned to accept someone as they are with absolute no opinion and judgement and just hold their emotions with them in the present moment.
Loving him comes easily. The things he says to me - I can't even start..i'll never end.

I just wanted to share this incredible thing that happened in my life because I have never felt a love like this. I've never been treated so well, so kindly and with so much compassion and love and sincerity. It's very foreign but very real.

For the first time in my life I can say - I think he is my forever person.

Yay!!!!

Yea...i've been yay-ing for the last few days.

It's amazing what a little bit of the right kind of love can do to a person.
Hopefully it will help me to work on my self love too. I've made a few changes again in my environments to improve my growth and health as well. So lots of encouragement on that front

...in whatever capacity...
'makes the world go around'..
(and by definition)
a far better place to feel content!

I am absolutely delighted to learn of such good news Charne...
It couldn't have happened to a nicer person.

Yours as ever, in long term friendship,
spanning almost a decade, David x

a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment,
or the smallest act of caring,
all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Thank you everyone for the lovely replies!

Yes, I'm still surfing the wonderful highs of happiness and contentment, though I am missing him terribly. He returns in three days from his yoga retreat he went to.

I've been writing music and poetry because of it all, tonight I'm making him a piece of art.
I cannot begin to convey the wonderful things he does and says. He makes it easier to face life, but it makes me question the inner strength one is supposed to have.
But I guess I must have some substantial strength and growth to have been open enough to receive his kindness and compassion.

So much of happiness xxx

Not long to wait now Charne
(if my memory serves me right.. on that score)
before you are back together in physical terms.

I know, right????

26 hours to go!! I am a bit nervous about him perhaps changing perceptions about us after having spent so much time at the retreat..then we speak on the phone and all doubts are wiped away.

I am however concerned that he is fragile at the moment, I need to take it easy. Without overwhelming him.
I don't want my fears to take over my life and possibly risk me losing him because he feels overwhelmed (although he pre-empted everything)
