Dear Members,
There are many individuals seeking help for the sexual abuse they have experienced, and there are many discussion groups on the internet specifically created for that purpose.
Unfortunately, our communities can't address the needs of all individuals suffering from abuse and all forms of mental illness. Our focus is on helping individuals with mood disorders and schizophrenia.
Sometimes, when discussing their mood disorder or schizophrenia, a member will mention being sexually abused. If this discussion is directly related to their present mood disorder or schizophrenia, it is permitted.
However, there are important legal guidelines.
No member can specifically name another person and accuse them of criminal sexual activity. Thus, legally, a member can't say "I was raped by my father/brother/boyfriend/priest". By specifically naming another individual and accusing them of criminal sexual behavior; you are placing this website at risk of being sued and thus being shut down.
A legally acceptible way of conveying this information is to use phrases like:
"When I was 10, I was sexually molested".
In this way, you do not identify the person; and you do not place our website at legal risk.

when i was 15 i was sexually molested and i know how it feels to go through that for all the girls who've experienced it keep your heads up high girls
