Interesting stuff, Dr. Long. Ben Franklins "Plan" looks to have some good points, and I am thinking of developing it into a plan of my own. There are several areas that I need to work on.

I also, appreciate the info on paranoia, and realize that I have some mild paranoia, though not about the people here at MT. Often, I have wondered if paranoia is at all hereditary? My dad was also paranoid, and always worried about how things looked to others around him.

Hi FLMgirl,

Research is showing that paranoia, as a personality trait, seems to be familial (i.e., it runs in families).

To overcome paranoid traits, it is helpful to have a nonparanoid friend to use as a "reality check" to see if your suspicions sound reasonable to someone else.

I'm glad you like Ben Franklin's "Plan". We are planning to bring out something very similar for smart phones as an app this summer.

Thanks for the feedback, Dr. Long. I appreciate it. That is a good idea about using a non-paranoid friend to help me reality checks my feelings.

I look forward to the phone app thing like Ben Franklin's plan. Hopefully, my phone is smart enough.
