What Is My Diagnosis of Donald Trump Now?

Donald Trump Wants To Be Emperor
Psychiatrically, I believe, Donald's Trump's diagnosis goes far beyond just having Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Donald Trump doesn't like sharing power. Watch him in the Republican debates. He always tries to focus attention on himself by continuing to talk when it's the other candidate's turn to talk. Trump repeatedly interrupts other candidates with his long rants on top of other candidate's speech. Donald doesn't like following rules, not even the simple rules of debating.

I believe events will soon prove that Trump has lied about his wealth, and about how much he has paid in taxes.

Look at how Trump handles those that oppose him. Trump likes to fire people.

At his rallies, his guards at the door ask everyone if they are a Trump supporter. If not, they are barred. If anyone voices opposition to him at his rallies, he asks his supporters to "throw the bum out".

Trump is now telling fellow billionaires that are paying for anti-Trump ads, to stop immediately, or they will be "very sorry" when he is elected president.
So Trump Wants To Be Emperor, So What?
If Trump is elected, as president he will immediately try to consolidate economic and military control around him. America will soon have just one-man rule.

One-man rule initially looks so attractive. Quick decisions are made to deal with highly complex and difficult problems. Action replaces inaction. People start working again.

It's only later that people realize that the nation's wealth has been transferred to the emperor and his few cronies, and the new employment is in industries that are preparing for endless war (e.g., Putin's Russia).

Finally, the resulting endless wars bankrupt the nation, and its empire collapses.

In this nuclear weapon age, there is no place for one-man rule. One incompetent Emperor could destroy the entire American Empire (and much of the world's population). (Incidentally, Putin may set the world on fire before Trump gets his chance.)

The American Empire under Trump may be one of history's shortest lasting empires. The American Empire has lasted less than 3 centuries, and by historical standards, that is pretty short. In comparison, the Ancient Greek empire lasted 3,000 years, and the Roman Empire lasted 800 years.

With Trump as Emperor, there may not be future historians to record how America's first Emperor came to set the world on fire.

Soon To Be 70-years-old Donald Trump Looking Very Tired

Does Donald Trump Suffer From Lack Of Sleep?
Donald Trump says he needs only three or four hours sleep, and sometimes just 90 minutes. Thus it is reasonable to question if he suffers from severe sleep deprivation which could cause significant mental impairment.

America Is The Leader Of The Free World

So America Can't Let A Fascist Destroy Its Democracy
At first, watching Donald Trump on the Republican debates was just entertaining television.

    Now it is terrifying.

Donald Trump may be elected as America's next president - just like Hitler was elected as Germany's leader. Democracy is no safeguard against the election of fascist leaders.

Rachel Maddow did a very interesting segment in her show last year questioning if Donald Trump was a fascist. The segment gave a historical background to fascism in Britain in WWII, and more recently in France.

Many senior republicans have now called Trump a fascist.

Rachel does an excellent job in this video of exploring this topic.

Should A 4-Time Bankrupt Casino Owner Be President?

Isn't Anyone Reading This Guy's Business Track Record?
Donald Trump derived much of his wealth from running gambling casinos.

The problem is, four of Trump's businesses have declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy. These were his hotel and casino businesses in Atlantic City: Trump's Taj Mahal (1991), Trump Plaza Hotel (1992), Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts (2004), and Trump Entertainment Resorts (2009).

Wikipedia reports: "Over the course of his career, Trump has initiated and been the target of "hundreds" of civil lawsuits, which his lawyer Alan Garten said in 2015 was 'a natural part of doing business in this country'. It appears that Trump is constantly in court suing someone.

I highly recommend that you read the Wikipedia section on Donald Trump.

Amazing Analysis of Donald Trump By John Oliver

This One Comedy Show Could Cost Trump The Presidency
This 30 minute video is a really funny, but deadly serious, refuting of the false claims that Trump is "really wealthy", "a great businessman", and "strong, honest man that tells it like it is".

What Happens When People Vote For Change And Elect A Dictator?

Take A Look At Zimbabwe
In 1965, Zimbabwe (then called Rhodesia) unilaterally declared independence from British colonial rule. Soon thereafter, civil war broke out between the ruling white Europeans and the disenfranchised black majority of the population.

The civil war ended in 1980 when a general election elected Robert Mugabe, the leader of the rebellion against white minority rule. Mugabe quickly converted Zimbabwe from a democracy to a dictatorship. Mugabe, aged 92, still rules Zimbabwe and has centered all economic and military power under his one-man rule.

The result of this one-man rule has been absolutely disastrous. Mugabe forced all white European farmers out of Zimbabwe, and gave their farms to his cronies. Zimbabwe was once the bread basket of Africa due to its rich agricultural production. However, without the farming expertise of the European farmers, Zimbabwe quickly could not feed itself, and the people started to starve.

Added to this, Zimbabwe is now experiencing a prolonged drought. Now Zimbabwe's economy is in shambles, and its currency is worthless. The American dollar is now the unofficial currency of Zimbabwe, and the official currency is only used for toilet paper.

One-Man Rule Doesn't Work
When you examine the worst places in the world to live, you will immediately notice one thing - they all are dictatorships, or failed states essentially run by warlords.

The problem with "strong man, one-man rule" is that nations today are faced with complex, difficult to fix, problems. A snap decision by a tyrant on how to solve these problems looks inviting, but invariably turns out to be disastrous.

To solve today's complex government problems, it is essential that there be input from a diversity of opinions and stake-holders. That is impossible under one-man rule. Tyrants are inflexible and listen to no one. Tyrants silence all opposition to their rule. Thus tyrants isolate themselves from the very people who, together, could solve these complex problems.

The end is always the same - the tyrants destroy their countries, and eventually their followers starve.
What Do All Tyrants Have In Common?
All tyrants lust after power, fame, and fortune. They gain all of this through a callous disregard for the rights of others.

Psychiatrically, they all have a combination of Narcissistic, Psychopathic, and Paranoid Personality Disorders.

Initially, these tyrants rise to power because of their appeal as a "strong man" and their promise to conquer all of their nation's enemies. The tyrant's supreme narcissism is attractive to many of his early followers.

These tyrants appear to have a great personality - until you get to know them. Initially the tyrant's "strong man" persona blinds his followers to his other dark, hidden psychopathic and paranoid behaviors.

Eventually the tyrant displays his psychopathic lying, and greedy exploitation of the nation for his own personal gain. When people start to protest, the tyrant makes them "disappear" - first they are silenced by intimidation, or being jailed.

As the tyrant becomes more paranoid and threatened by mounting opposition to his rule; the tyrant resorts to murdering those that oppose his rule. This further inflames opposition to his rule; hence the tyrant's rule becomes more oppressive and murderous.

Finally the nation either collapses because of the tyrant's economic mismanagement (e.g., Zimbabwe), or the mass killings trigger a civil war (e.g., Syria).
How Do We Stop Tyrants?
Anyone showing severe narcissistic, psychopathic and paranoid personality traits should be prevented from gaining political power.

This personality profile of tyrants is now well-known. Individuals with this "tyrant triad" of Narcissistic + Psychopathic + Paranoid Personality Disorders are guaranteed to become tyrants once they gain political power.

So what personality traits should we watch out for in aspiring politicians?

    • Severe narcissistic traits: arrogance, grandiosity, devious exploitation and manipulation of others for his own personal gain.

    • Severe psychopathic traits: callous disregard for the rights of others, lying, cheating, promoting hatred for his own political gain; breaking the law (e.g., tax evasion, "business" dealings with organized crime).

    • Severe paranoid traits: purposely building a climate of fear and paranoia by promoting mistrust of minorities (e.g., refugees, migrants, or "terrorists"); silencing anyone who opposes him (e.g., throwing them out of political meetings; suing opponents to silence them); fostering mistrust of "the establishment" (e.g., government, law courts, press, business leaders).

Does this remind you of any aspiring politician you know?

This Is What A Mentally Healthy Politician Sounds Like

Notice: No Narcissism, Psychopathy or Paranoia
In this interview, Bernie Sanders couldn't be trapped by the interviewer into bad-mouthing Hilary Clinton. Instead, he just clearly defined where he stood on the major issues.

Notice the lack of drama. There were no personal attacks or insults aimed at the other presidential candidates. Instead, Bernie just said what he would do if elected president.

Listening to Bernie is a lot like listening to a wise, patient, caring grandfather who is gently telling you how to be a better person.
Bernie Saunders Actually Has A Coherent Policy Agenda
Bernie talks about greater sharing of the wealth, and forcing billionaires to pay their fair share of taxes. He wants to return to the way things were 40 years ago when college tuition was free in public universities.

He wants to break up the too-big-to-fail banks, and reinstate the banking regulations that prevented bank failures from 1933-1980. These banking regulations were removed by Bill Clinton in 1980, and since then there has been a major banking failure every 15 years. The last banking failure in 2008 almost destroyed the American economy.

Bernie wants to gradually increase the minimum wage to $15/hour. He wants to tax stock market speculation, and use the resulting billions of new tax revenue to pay for free college tuition.

Bernie wants America to remove its troops from the Middle East, and thus force Turkey and Saudi Arabia to use their own troops to fight ISIS. Why should these Arab nations be using the US military as their proxy army and air force?

Overall, this political interview is one of the best interviews I have seen of any US presidential candidate.

Americans May Call This An Election

But The Rest Of The World Calls This An IQ Test
And it is not looking good.

Think about it: a casino operator whose casinos have gone bankrupt 4 times may be the next American President. OMG.
