The CIA Purposely Misinforms Even Its Own Staff

CIA Breaks The Law By Making False Internal Memos, While Destroying The True Internal Memos
    (By Business Insider)

Senior CIA officials have for years intentionally deceived parts of the agency workforce by transmitting internal memos that contain false information about operations and sources overseas, according to current and former U.S. officials who said the practice is known by the term "eyewash."

Agency veterans described the tactic as an infrequent but important security measure, a means of protecting vital secrets by inserting fake communications into routine cable traffic while using separate channels to convey accurate information to cleared recipients.

But others cited a significant potential for abuse. Beyond the internal distrust implied by the practice, officials said there is no clear mechanism for labeling eyewash cables or distinguishing them from legitimate records being examined by the CIA's inspector general, turned over to Congress or declassified for historians.

Federal law makes it a criminal offense when a government employee "conceals, covers up, falsifies or makes a false entry" in an official record. Legal experts said they knew of no special exemption for the CIA, nor any attempt to prosecute agency officials for alleged violations."

U.S. Inflation Rate, Unemployment Rate, and GDP Statistics Are Bogus

U.S. Presidents Insisted That These Economic Statistics Be Falsified
When U.S. economic statistics (e.g., inflation rate, unemployment rate, GDP) are calculated the way the government did prior to 1990; they differ dramatically from today's economic statistics.

    Why?

Because, after 1990, the U.S. government kept changing how these economic statistics were calculated. This falsification of economic statistics was done to make the economy look far better than what it was.

It worked, because economists never questioned if these statistics had been falsified.

Now we are making major economic decisions based on grossly falsified economic statistics.

At www.shadowstats.com, these economic statistics are calculated "the old way" - like they were calculated by the U.S. government prior to 1990. The difference in economic statistics calculated "the old way" vs. "the new way" shows how dramatically the U.S. government is falsifying its economic statistics.

Basically, this is another glaring example of the U.S. government purposely misinforming the public.

Middle income Americans aren`t that worried about the choppy stock market

This Is What The Banks Are Telling Small Investors

Banks Tell The Little Guy To Stay In The Stock Market
Mega-banks are telling small investors to stay in the stock market - this is just a temporary stock correction.

    They know they are lying.

Iraqi forces capture main government compound in Ramadi

This Propaganda Neatly Hides Why Iraqis Hate Our Guts

First Read This Washington Post Article
This article was written on December 27th, 2015 to announce a great victory for the Iraqi army which was supported by US air power.

The article is quite glowing - it describes that the Iraqi army had almost cleared Ramadi of ISIS fighters. This is the first major victory the Iraqi army has had against ISIS.

    Definitely something to celebrate.
But Wait, There's More
The UN reported that the US bombing leveled 80% of Ramadi during this attack. Ramadi was a city of a half million Iraqis. There were only 250-300 ISIS fighters in Ramadi. So the US nearly completely leveled a city of a half million civilians in order to kill 300 ISIS fighters.

This purposely wasn't mentioned in this Washington Post article.

But this propaganda article gets worse.

The half million Iraqi civilians were trapped in Ramadi during the US bombing. The ISIS fighters wouldn't let them leave. So hundreds of thousands of civilians must have been killed when 80% of Ramadi was leveled. This wasn't mentioned by the Washington Post article.

This news cover-up wasn't just in this Washington Post article.

There is no information on the internet about civilian casualties in this December 2015 US bombing of Ramadi. The numbers of combatants killed is posted, but not a word about civilian casualties.

How could bombing 80% of a city of a half million not cause civilian casualties?

What about those 300 ISIS fighters?

Three days before the US started bombing Ramadi, the Iraqi army told the people in Ramadi that they would attack in 72 hours.

That allowed the ISIS fighters plenty of time to escape. A few stayed until the US bombing started in order to prevent the civilians from leaving Ramadi. The Iraqi army clearly saw that the civilians hadn't left Ramadi, but the US bombing went ahead as previously promised.

This essential bit of information was also not reported in the Washington Post article. So that's how propaganda works - you are purposely misinformed in order that you don't question what is really happening.
So Why Do Iraqis Hate The US And Its Allies?
  • First there's that little thing about America invading Iraq to steal its oil. Iraq had not attacked the US, so that whole invasion was illegal under international law.

  • Then there's the complete breakdown in Iraq's government caused by America trying to appoint its own Iraqi puppet government that was totally corrupt and dysfunctional.

  • Then there's America's current military strategy of massive aerial bombardment of cities. Ramadi is a good example. Why would anyone almost completely destroy a city of half a million in order to force 300 ISIS fighters to leave before the city was leveled? Militarily, it just does not make sense. The more the US carpet bombs Iraqi civilians, the more the Iraqis hate the US. This may be great way to generate new recruits for ISIS, but it is an insane US military policy.

  • So there it is.

The US and its allies are waging a War of Terror against Iraqi and Syrian cities, but they are still unable to defeat ISIS despite all this bombing.

ISIS has brutally killed thousands of innocent civilians, and the US has killed hundreds of thousands. Who is worse?

To the dead civilians, it matters little if they were beheaded by ISIS or blow apart by US bombing. Either way, they are dead.

Of course, our mass media will never report the full story of how our bombing is killing civilians. All we are told is that our military is doing a great job.

    That's how propaganda works.

Paul Sheehan apologises for failing to check story of gang-rape by Arabic-speaking men

In Every Witch Hunt There Are People Who Swear They See Witches

Beware Of Mass Hysteria

Some very histrionic people desperately will say anything at a political rally just to be heard, and to play the victim role.

This happened in Australia where a woman got up at an anti-refugee political meeting and alleged she was "gang raped by Arab-speaking men". This story went viral, and even made it into the local newspaper.

However, when the newspaper couldn't verify this story, they retracted it. It turns out this lady was alleging a number of bizarre incidents - the common theme was that she was always a heroic victim. None of these stories could be verified.

Last fall, I attended a town hall meeting on the refugee crisis held by Vancouver's mayor. I noticed that approximately half of the people in the audience who made their way to the public microphone literally were off topic, and were speaking "just to be heard". They gave rambling biographical sketches of their many exploits, but said nothing that pertained to the refugee crisis.

There is something about these town hall or political meetings - they act as magnets for every narcissistic or histrionic person that always dreamed of being in the public spotlight. The problem is that these people will say anything to aggrandize themselves in the eyes of their audience.

The same is true of the false accounts of being sexually molested by refugees circulating in social media.

One lady in Hungary reported that she heard Arab-speaking men on a train discussing how they were planning to rape her. When she was asked how she could know what they were saying in Arabic; she answered that she knew Arabic. She went on to claim that she knew Arabic so well that she had memorized the entire Koran.

Her story was then published in Hungary, and no one had the sense to question how this woman ever had the time, let alone the grasp of Arabic, to memorize "the entire Koran".

In propaganda, such as this Hungarian woman's report, you should always look for the "Big Lie" technique. Propagandists know that, the bigger the lie, the more believable it is.

So, in propaganda, you don't just report one rape - to make it more believable, you report a gang rape.

Or, in propaganda, you don't just say a Hungarian woman knew Arabic - instead you report that this woman's Arabic was so good, she had memorized the entire Koran.

Or, if you are running for President, you don't just say a few Muslims might be bad - instead you claim that no Muslim can be trusted, and all Muslims should be deported from America.

Ok, enough - you get the point.

My Mom died in 1994. Our family had a service in which anyone could command the podium. Well, the Grandchildren got into it! We had six year olds acting like six year olds and playing off the eight year olds!

Who Says You Aren't Being Spied On?

How Google Reads Your E-Mail And Sells Its Contents
A Jewish friend told me this story in the gym today.

An American friend a few days ago sent him an email using Google mail (Gmail). In this private Gmail, his American friend wrote: "You really must be on the lookout for tsuris."

"Tsuris" is a Yiddish word meaning "serious troubles".

The next day, my Jewish friend got an email from Amazon.com stating that: "Now is a good time to buy tsuris at Amazon.com."
So?
Think about it: how could Amazon know that someone in a private email was "on the lookout for tsuris." The only way this could happen is if Google was scanning every private email for key phrases like: "on the lookout for [word]."

Google then sells this information, with your email address to Amazon, who then sends you an email saying that "Now is a good time to buy [word] at Amazon.com."
Our Private E-Mails Are Being Made Public
Everything you write in your "private" emails is being read and sold by Google to private corporations. These private corporations then know more about you than does the National Security Agency.

Google gives these private corporations access, through your emails, to what you want, what you buy, and where you presently are (through GPS). Google probably also sells these corporations what websites you visit (especially porn etc.), and possibly what you look like (through your computer camera).

Consider this: computers now support voice commands. For voice commands to work; the computer has to be listening to you all the time your computer is on.

So the question is, who else is listening to your every word?

Thus I agree with my Jewish friend. We really are in tsuris.

"People Are Spying On Me"

This Is Very True For Americans
The FBI has employed hundreds of thousands of spies to keep their fellow Americans under constant surveillance.

Thus now, when a psychiatrist is testing for paranoia, the question will have to be reworded to:

"Other than the government's daily spying on you, do you ever think that anyone else is constantly spying on you?"

America and Its Allies Say Their Wars Are To Liberate Countries

But These Wars Make These Countries Infinitely Worse
The American "liberation" of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya has virtually destroyed these nations by triggering chaos and civil war.

These wars were justified as protecting oppressed peoples, preventing humanitarian outrages, stopping genocide, or toppling noxious dictators.

The truth is that these wars were not done for humanitarian reasons. These wars were done to steal the nation's oil (e.g., Iraq and Libya) or to gain access to the rich oil fields of central Asia (e.g., Afghanistan - but civil war prevented the Afghanistan-Pakistan pipeline from being built).

The next time you hear that a new war is going to be started "on humanitarian grounds" - don't believe it. It's just propaganda.

General Clark`s Website, StopIranWar.com

Proof That Generals, Not Politicians, Make American Foreign Policy

General Wesley Clark Confirmed This In This Interview
(I've posted on this before elsewhere.) Before he retired, General Wesley Clark was the Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO.

In this interview, General Clark confirms that in 2001, the Pentagon had formulated a massive military plan to conquer the Middle East (i.e., Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Iran).

Back in 2001, if General Clark had made this war plan public, the media would have laughed at him. They would have said that such a plan to conquer the Middle East would violate international law, and would go against everything America stood for.

Yet it appears General Clark's accusations have proven true (except for a war with Iran). America has attacked Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and now Syria. America's ally, Israel unsuccessfully attacked Lebanon. American drones currently attack Somalia and Sudan.

So who created this plan to conquer the Middle East - was it America's elected politicians, or the Generals at the Pentagon?

That question may be academic, because the real power creating America's foreign policy is the American military-industrial complex. In order for this complex to thrive; America must have endless war.

What about the more than one million innocent civilians killed in these wars?

These civilian casualties are simply not reported by the American media.

For the Pentagon, the important thing was to get that oil, and to gain a geopolitical advantage over Russia and China.

Why don't we protest such rampant militarism?

Because public opinion is easily manipulated.

Watch This Up-Beat Video: How Could It Be Propaganda?

Notice How This Video Argues That 2016 Won't Be A Repeat of 2008
    Can you spot the propaganda?

Remember that propaganda isn't just arguing a different viewpoint. Propaganda is where the facts supporting a viewpoint are fraudulently distorted.

Is it 2008 all over again?
