Canada Is Preparing To Receive Climate Refugees From California
Prospective Refugees Will First Have To Pass Extensive Security Checks
As usual, top priority for immigration will be given to disabled Californian refugees, those from persecuted minority groups, families, and single mothers with children.
Single male Californians will be subjected to intensive security checks both by the UNHCR and by Canada's own Security agencies to ensure that terrorists don't enter Canada disguised as Californian refugees.
The whole security screening process should take no more than two years. Meanwhile the Californian refugees can stay in tents in refugee camps set up south of the Canadian border. Unfortunately, the UNHCR, the UN refugee aid agency, says it lacks the funds to feed any more refugees.
Canada estimates that it will be able to accept 35,000 Californian refugees. California currently has a population of 39.3 million, which makes up 12.2% of the total population of the United States.
Thus most Californians will have to move to other parts of America, since Mexico is planning to erect a wall at its border to prevent illegal Californian immigration to Mexico.

Drought Is About To Kill Hundreds of Thousands of Ethiopians
This Spreading Global Drought Is No Joke
My last post was partly a joke. California's severe 5-year long drought is no joke. However, my last post was a fictional account exploring what if we handled drought refugees from California the same way as we handled drought and war refugees from Syria.
As I have previously warned, this global drought has spread across northern Africa to now hit Ethiopia.
With global warming, every low rainfall area of the globe will now slip into drought and agricultural collapse.
I don't think anyone has a viable plan for how to help southern Asia if this drought hits Pakistan, India, Thailand and China.
If drought causes agricultural collapse in southern Asia, billions of starving Asians will not peacefully sit back and watch Europe and North America turn a blind eye to their suffering (as we are currently doing to the refugee crisis).
Pakistan, India and China all have nuclear weapons. Nations always turn to war when their survival is threatened.
We either share our wealth and get through this climate crisis together, or we will perish together.

California relies on its winter rainfall for its water supply. California is now in its 5th year of drought. La Niña this winter would predict that California would still be in drought next year.

Donald Trump Denies That There Is Climate Change
Trump Doesn't Want Any Restrictions Placed On The Burning Of Fossil Fuels
Scientists are now warning that if unchecked, climate change could cause severe drought across 40% of all land, double what it is today.
That means that almost half of America would be a desert. That would be far worse than the "dust bowl" of the 1930s.
So November's election will be a national IQ test for all Americans. Will Americans be smart enough to agree with Hillary Clinton that there is climate change and thus restrict the burning of fossil fuels?
Or will Americans agree with Donald Trump and deny that there is climate change or any need to restrict the burning of fossil fuels?
If there are more dumb Americans than smart ones; a president Trump could guarantee that we - and our planet - will all be fried.
